    Very good

Being owner/family managed, they were always happy to please us and went out of their way to accomodate us. The personal touches coupled with a clean and sizeable room made our stay comfortable. Our unit had a large outside balcony and a good view of the neighbourhood.

The hotel didn't have a lift and carrying our heavy bags up and down three flights of stairs, was extremely exhausting.

The location was perfect. Next to the open market, promenade, and hotel.

    Fabulous

The staff were exceptionally welcoming , helpful and made you feel at home. The location was good and within walking distance to Ben Yehuda & the old city. Right next to Machaneh yehuda where all your food can be obtained. Breakfasts were very adeqate. The hotel/flatlet is equiped for shabbat cooking if you want. No elevater but help is available to carry your bags if you are on a higher floor. Rooms were always clean & have been renovated recently. We think it was value for what we paid

    Exceptional

We were welcomed by the owner. There are only 9 rooms. Quiet, clean, and with perfect service. The breakfast pushes you throughout the day.Close to the Old City and means of transportation. Highly recommended.I Would come back to this place.

    Superb

The nicest and most helpful hosts I've ever met! They turned my stay into wonderful experience. Location is very convenient. Apartment was with a view. Free Internet and coffee made my day. Market round the corner is absolutely great. Overall a very pleasant stay, I definitely recommend it to everybody.

Steep stairs may be a problem with the luggage, but I got help from my hosts with this too.

    Superb

Staff is very kind. You feel like home. You can use free Wifi. Rooms made proper every day. Trams is still testriding but if it's working in september you can go easily to the old city.

    Exceptional

Hospitality is what comes in my mind first. Itzak and his crew made us almost feel like home. We could ask them anything and they tried to meet what we asked for. I can recommend room 7/8 to anyone looking foor clean bedding in the center of Jerusalem.

    Fabulous

The balcony was really nice big.(we had a 4 person appartment) The staff was very friendly. We could drink coffee, tea and water at all times for free! That was really lovely. It gave a nice friendly atmosphere. The hotel is in the middle of the Jewish part of the city. We enjoyed the be able to see a totally different lifestyle on the street. Also our hotel followed the rules of Shabbath.

It was quite a walk into the old city. But later in the year (august 2011) they will have opened the new metro system which leads from the hotel's frontdoor all the way into the old city. It will be even a more perfect place to stay.

    Apartment style hotel

More apartment than hotel. No guideline on room services.

    Fabulous

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location good.

Not a huge issue, but would have preferred an earlier breakfast.

Put us within walking distance of where my family was staying.

Hotel is comfortable enough, but not too great. Stairs tough if you have any issues. Breakfast really small and nothing to write home about.

    Very good

Big comfortable rooms for a family, with basic kitchen. Not noisy for being in the centre, less noise since there is a new tram instead of the cars passing by.

    Noisy double bed.

    Exceptional

The location, next to the green market of Jerusalem, a brisk 10 minute walk to the Ben Yehuda pedestrian shopping/socializing center and about 20-30 minutes on foot to the Jaffa Gate, is wonderful. The staff is all family, headed up by Itzik and his son, and their warmth and home-cooked breakfasts make you feel a part of the family too. If you want 4 star design and all the works, this is not the place for you. If you want a nice, simple B&B style place that is clean, central and economical, this is a great choice. For people who are Shomer Shabbat (Sabbath observant), the room has a cooking counter with a Shabbat hot plate & candle holders. When the tram starts next month, this hotel will be even easier to reach, as it is right on the train line. I can't wait to return!

For those who have problems with stairs or heavy bags, be aware that there is no elevator.

    Exceptional

Owner was very friendly and did much to make out stay enjoyable.

Parking is difficult but perhaps by Jerusalem standards not bad. Some instruction on how to get to where parking is available would be helpful.
